Similase promotes deliver of nutrients to the body for better health. A broad spectrum plant enzyme formula to aid digestion & to promote delivery of nutrients to your bloodstream & cells. Similase contains no animal products & is primarily derived from Aspergillus oryzae which is used in the fermentation of soy sauce, tamari, miso & other food products. Poorly digested food contributes to symptoms of indigestion, other gastrointestinal symptoms, malabsorption, inflammation, food sensitivities, & chronic disease. Similase works in a wide ranging pH of 2-12. It contains the enzymes needed to digest carbohydrates/starches, fats, fibers, milk sugars (lactose), sugar (sucrose) & grain sugar (maltose). Similase also contains a variety of acidophilus & bifidus species for the replacement of normal healthy gut flora. In general all persons will benefit from the use of multiple digestive enzyme formulas with meals. Plant enzymes help to prevent disorders caused by impaired digestion and/or enzyme depleted diets.
